Este manual tiene como objetivo guiar a los educadores interesados en implementar proyectos de aprendizaje-servicio. Está organizado en tres partes. En la primera parte, la sección “Aprendizaje-servicio y educación para el futuro” reflexiona sobre los desafíos educativos del siglo XXI. En particular, considera la influencia del aprendizaje-servicio en los estudiantes a medida que desarrollan competencias, adquieren autonomía y asumen su ciudadanía activa en las sociedades contemporáneas. En este capítulo, CLAYSS contextualiza su enfoque del aprendizaje-servicio en Europa Central y Oriental, al tiempo que identifica los elementos compartidos que promueven una cultura de encuentro. En la segunda parte, presentamos nuestra definición de aprendizaje-servicio en términos generales con la sección “¿Qué es aprendizaje-servicio?”. La tercera parte guía al lector a través del proceso de desarrollo de un proyecto de aprendizaje-servicio. La sección “Participantes clave en proyectos de aprendizaje-servicio” describe las principales responsabilidades que lleva a cabo cada participante clave.
This handbook is intended to guide educators interested in implementing servicelearning projects. It is organized in three parts. In Part One, the section “Service-Learning and Education for the Future” reflects on the educational challenges of the 21st century. In particular, it considers the influence of service-learning on students as they develop competencies, gain autonomy, and assume their active citizenship in contemporary societies. In this chapter, CLAYSS contextualizes its approach to service-learning within Central and Eastern Europe, while identifying the shared elements that promote a culture of encounter. In Part Two, we present our definition of service-learning in broad terms with the section “What is Service-Learning?”. Part Three guides the reader through the process of developing a service-learning project. The section “Key Participants in Service-Learning Projects” outlines the main responsibilities carried out by each key participant.
