In the context of the celebration of World Oral Health Day, the book “My teeth I take care of, healthy and strong for life” was presented at the College of Dental Surgeons of Chile. It corresponds to a series of four stories that was created by 12 UC Dentistry students in 2017 as part of the activities of the first-year course that has Learning and Service methodology, ‘Integrated Dental Fundamentals II’. The creation of the 44-page book -which has intellectual property registration- arose after the need of kindergarten educators from the Gendarmerie Kindergarten in the San Joaquin district to promote oral health.
En el contexto de la celebración del Día Mundial de la Salud Bucodental, en el colegio de Cirujanos Dentistas de Chile se presentó el libro “Mis dientes cuido, sanos y fuertes para toda la vida”. Corresponde a una serie de cuatro cuentos que fue creado por 12 estudiantes de Odontología UC en 2017 como parte de las actividades del curso de primer año que cuenta con metodología Aprendizaje y Servicio, ´Fundamentos odontológicos integrados II´. La creación del libro de 44 páginas –que cuenta con registro de propiedad intelectual– surgió tras la necesidad que tenían educadoras de párvulos del Jardín Infantil de Gendarmería de la comuna de San Joaquín para promover la salud bucodental.
Dans le cadre de la célébration de la Journée mondiale de la santé bucco-dentaire, le livre “Mes dents je prend soin, sain et fort pour la vie” a été présenté au Collège des chirurgiens dentistes du Chili. Il correspond à une série de quatre histoires créées par 12 étudiants en dentisterie de l’UC en 2017 dans le cadre des activités du cours de première année qui a une méthodologie d’apprentissage-service, “Fondamentaux dentaires intégrés II”. La création de ce livre de 44 pages – qui a fait l’objet d’un enregistrement de propriété intellectuelle – est née de la nécessité pour les éducateurs du jardin d’enfants de la Gendarmería, dans le district de San Joaquín, de promouvoir la santé bucco-dentaire.
