Este proyecto corresponde a un modelo antropol\u00f3gico y pedag\u00f3gico surgido a partir de la experiencia espiritual de un hombre cuya existencia se desenvolvi\u00f3 casi toda en la primera mitad del siglo XVI, y que se ha mostrado extraordinariamente fecundo a lo largo de m\u00e1s de 450 a\u00f1os para inspirar a nuevas generaciones de hombres y mujeres en su desarrollo personal y en el servicio a los dem\u00e1s. Esa tradici\u00f3n pedag\u00f3gica propia de los centros educativos de la Compa\u00f1\u00eda de Jes\u00fas ha ido adecu\u00e1ndose a las circunstancias de la diversidad de tiempos, lugares y personas, y en ella se inserta la labor de la Universidad de Deusto. Para comprender las razones que han propiciado la institucionalizaci\u00f3n del aprendizaje-servicio en esa Universidad y la forma en que se ha hecho es preciso entender el modo en el cual la tradici\u00f3n pedag\u00f3gica ignaciana se concreta en un modelo propio de ense\u00f1anza y un contexto institucional cuyos rasgos m\u00e1s destacables hoy son el deseo por desarrollar en esa clave ignaciana la identidad y misi\u00f3n de la Universidad y la adaptaci\u00f3n de la docencia al Espacio Europeo de Educaci\u00f3n Superior con la implantaci\u00f3n de los nuevos estudios de grado a partir del curso 2009-2010.<\/span><\/p>\n

This project corresponds to an anthropological and pedagogical model that emerged from the spiritual experience of a man whose existence developed almost entirely in the first half of the century XVI, and that has been extraordinarily fertile throughout more than 450 years to
\ninspire new generations of men and women in their personal development and in service to
\nothers. This pedagogical tradition typical of the educational centers of the Society of Jesus has
\nadapted to the circumstances of the diversity of times, places and people, and in it
\ninserts the work of the University of Deusto. To understand the reasons that have led to the
\ninstitutionalization of service-learning in that University and the way it has been done is
\nIt is necessary to understand the way in which the Ignatian pedagogical tradition is concretized in a model teaching itself and an institutional context whose most notable features today are the desire to develop in that Ignatian key the identity and mission of the University and the adaptation of the teaching to the European Higher Education Area with the implementation of the new studies degree from the 2009-2010 academic year.
